‘Futurama’ is back baby!

Futurama season 8 is slated for release sometime in 2023, 10 years after its season finale, with 20 brand-new episodes.

The entire cast will be back to reprise their roles for Futurama season 8’s new episodes. John DiMaggio (Bender) has managed to settle his contract issues. Joining DiMaggio are Billy West (Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg), Katey Sagal (Leela), Tress MacNeille (Leela’s Mom, Linda, Nerdbot), Phil LaMarr (Hermes Conrad), Lauren Tom (Amy Wong), and Maurice LaMarche (Calculon, Kif, Morbo).

There are a few special appearances in the works. Futurama fans will still be able to hear Coolio (Kwanzaa), the late rapper recorded segments for the animated series before his death.

For those unaware, Coolio first appeared in 2001, playing Kwanzaa, a counterpart bot to Chanukah Zombie and Santa Claus Robot. David X. Cohen, the Exec Producer of “Futurama,” told TMZ he was shocked to hear about the musicians passing, especially because he recorded lines for their upcoming season just weeks before.

Futurama season 8’s titles of the first 10 episodes in order are: “The Impossible Stream,” “Rage Against The Vaccine,” “Zapp Gets Cancelled,” “The Prince And The Product,” “Related To Items You’ve Viewed,” “Kip Gets Knocked Up A Notch,” “How The West Was 1010001,” “I Know What You Did Last Xmas”, “Parasites Regained,” and “All The Way Down.”
