Game Of Thrones stars respond to season 8 remake petition

Game of Thrones stars have responded to a change.org petition, which has demanded that the showrunners remake the entirety of season 8.

Jacob Anderson (Greyworm) appearing on US talk show Strahan and Sara, commented that the rude” petition trivialises the hard work of the cast and crew.

“I just mean that in the sense that I was there and the crew, in particular, on our show are like the hardest working people I’ve ever met and had the pleasure of working with. I think to kind of trivialise their work in that way – I find it quite sad”.

Isaac Hempstead Write (Brandon Stark) has described the petition as “absurd” and “ridiculous”. The Three Eye Raven has commented, “I can’t even fathom it. It’s just ridiculous. It’s ridiculous that people think they can just demand a different ending because they don’t like it. I have stupidly taken it quite personally, which obviously I shouldn’t.”

Over one million people have signed the petition, which describes showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss as “woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material to fall back on“. These complaints with the show’s narrative are accompanied by technical criticisms including lighting issues with The Long Night episode, and a rogue Starbucks coffee cup appearing in a Winterfell scene.

Today’s 80-minute finale is expected to play with more than just our literary perceptions. The final season has already costed employers billions due to productivity losses, the finale being no exception to the rule.
