Set times, market stalls and tasty beer: here’s everything you need to know about Sydney City Limits

No one is more excited about the impending inaugural Sydney City Limits as we are. So much so that we took it upon ourselves to devise an information road map for the ways we are likely to have the most fun someone could possibly have.

First things first, the festival set times have just been announced (check them here) plus the official SCL app is ready for download (iOS, Android). If you want to be the most organised person on the ground at Sydney City Limits then these are a must have come February 24th.

If you want to be a part of huge day of music, arts, food and great atmosphere, then Sydney City Limits is where you should be.

Firstly, the music. Now while there are some great international acts taking the stage, think The Libertines, Beck, Phoenix and Justice, we can’t wait to be front and centre for some of our local favourites.

Gang of Youths will likely give a thunderous performance off the back of their ARIA-soaked 2017 and Tash Sultana has proved time and time again that she is a leading lady when it comes to putting our little island on the map. The phenomenal Stella Donnelly will be jumping up and performing her hit tracks from the EP she released last year and Ziggy Ramo and The Love are back and bigger than ever before.

Now onto food. Festival food and drink can either be really really good or really really bad, lucky for us Sydney City Limits have nailed it with the selections. Think Lazy Yak and Wild Yak, Manly’s own Four Pines Pale Ale and the delicious Goose Island IPA.

Last on our to do list is the Sydney City Limits Market. Curated by the legends over at Surry Hill’s Dear Pluto, the market stalls are packed with sustainable and local fashion, sunglasses, clothing, merch and more. For a bit of TLC and some downtime, this is where we will be headed.

If you haven’t already grabbed tickets to Sydney City Limits, do so here.
