Gorillaz announces new album ‘Cracker Island’ and shares the new single ‘New Gold.’
The eighth studio album by the Gorillaz “Cracker Island” is scheduled to drop on Feb 24, 2023. Hailed as being ‘the sound of change and the chorus of the collective’ the album is set to feature collaborations by Stevie Nicks, Adeleye Omotayo, Thundercat, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, Bootie Brown, and Beck.
To cap off the good news, the virtual band has also released their first single “New Gold” featuring Tame Impala and Pharcyde’s Bootie Brown.
‘New Gold’ was played for the first time at London’s All Points East Festival earlier this month. The band was joined on stage by Kevin Parker’s Tame Impala and Bootie Brown.
