H3rizon

Dropped on July 19, their latest track ‘Coordinate’ has become a viral sensation on TikTok, amassing over 5000 shares. Further proof that H3rizon have climbed to new heights in 2023.

After touring with Coolio, opening for Kehlani, and appearing on the social media pages of Boyz II Men and Robin Thicke, the trio have now signed a new management deal with music industry veterans Philippe-Marc Anquetil (One Direction, Tinie Tempah), and Kelvin Avon (Erykah Badu, P. Diddy).

Most importantly, they recently finished the creation of their debut album in Atlanta, Georgia with seven-time Grammy award-winning producer Tricky Stewart. His chart-busting hits include Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ (2007), Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’ (2008), and Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ (2010), alongside other bangers from the likes of Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, and Mary J. Blige.

When trying to understand how H3rizon have attracted the attention of such high-profile industry figures, experiencing the force of their combined musical talents, their domineering onstage/onscreen dancing abilities, and their soaring, silky vocals speak volumes about their strengths as performers.

To address H3rizon as songwriters, they know how to work towards finding good hooks and offering them up again and again to get listeners addicted to their tracks. ‘Coordinate’ is both captivating and enthralling as a party-centric ‘girl-boss anthem’ (to use their term), while being a perfect showcase of their harmony-laden vocal flair, backed by spunky personality.

‘Coordinate’ is driven by deep bass, boosted by velvety choruses and spiced up with exotic hand drums, while exhibiting a beat that partially sounds like ice shaking in a cocktail maker, (a possible reference to the “Henny and coke” that they sing about). ‘Coordinate’s tough chorus is a rousing call to action for all fun-loving women to congregate and coordinate their strengths as one, while diminishing the patriarchy and looking good while doing so.
