What you missed at the Happy Mag Issue 16 Launch Party

The Happy Mag Issue 16 Launch Party went off with a bang on Friday. Check out some highlights from the epic night!

Last Friday, Happy Mag took over Waywards at The Bank to celebrate our newest, sexiest mag launch!

Over a wild night of killer live music featuring our fave Aussie bands, great booze supplied by our mates over at Brookvale Union, and delicious food, we welcomed Issue 16: The Sex Issue.

Our epic openers, Salarymen got the crowd absolutely pumped for the weird and wonderful night ahead.

Next up were pop punk trio Bloods who kept the good times rolling with their tight set full of energetic headbangers.

In line with the theme of our new mag, Sydney metal-rockers Battlesnake kept it sexy for us with their signature stage attire of highly-desirable merch undies and not much else.

Their heavy riffs and high-voltage hits sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy as they chanted along to every tune.

Swooping in next were Melbourne’s fast-rising indie rockers RAT!hammock, who lit up the stage with a show-stopping set featuring all of their classics.

Having recently performed some incredible shows alongside the likes of Spacey Jane and Ball Park Music, we were lucky enough to nab them as our launch party headliners!

And of course, we couldn’t wrap up the night without some killer DJ sets from legends, Divorcees and Jake Stone, who kept us all partying well into the morning!

If you got the chance to sink a few (or a few dozen) of these bad boys on Friday night with us, you know what we’re on about when we say there’s nothing better than dancing along to free live music with a refreshing tinnie of Brookvale’s finest in hand!
