Happy Mag’s guide to The Grass is Greener festival 2018

The Grass Is Greener festival is back for another year, having dropped a lineup that we were straight-up drooling over.

To ensure that you make the most of this huge one-dayer taking place October 27, we’ve put together some of the acts you’ve got to see and some essential stuff you should know.

The Grass is Greener is continuing to bring some of the best acts across Australia and the world to North Queensland, and this year is bound to be their biggest yet.

Music

To prove that the grass is plenty green in Australia’s far North Queensland, the festival has gathered some of the most promising acts in the scene right now.

First on the list is your new girl crush Godlands. Bringing old school back with new methods, the young artist is bound to put on a performance that will blow your mind. Definitely one to check out, you’re about to see her everywhere.

Another one to check out would be Australia’s most promising up and comers, Kota Banks. The young artist has been blessing the 2018 festival scene with her bubbly pop tracks, so if you’re looking to have a boogie go check her out.

Some other must see acts include Luca Brasi, electronic duo Kinder, Australian favourites The Jungle Giants, and the man who needs no introduction, dudududu-Darude. Check out the full lineup below for all the other epic acts.

Explore

The Grass Is Greener has been curated by local producers and suppliers to ensure a world class experience. So make sure you keep aside a part of the day to have a wander around and see some of the homegrown Aussie goods the festival has to offer.

Plus, it never helps to support some of the smaller business that keep Australian festivals so unique.

As with the lineup, we always recommend checking out a food or drink you’ve never heard of. Make sure you get the full well-rounded experience The Grass is Greener has to offer, and maybe you’ll come away with a new favourite snack!
