On Saturday 22 May, Happy Mag presents Organs’ Get Anxious single launch at Sydney’s iconic live music stop, Oxford Art Factory.
With live music once again being government-sanctioned in the great city of Sydney, the last few months have been a whirlwind of knockout shows reminding all of us what we missed in 2020. Few things beat a cramped, thrashy, garage rock show, and that’s exactly what Organs will deliver at their Get Anxious single launch.
As the very first taste of their upcoming 2021 debut album, Get Anxious is a scuzzy fast burner that’ll simply go off on the live stage.
Organs are a Sydney-based crew who burst onto the scene in 2019 with a short string of punchy DIY tracks and raucous live shows to match. After the forced writing break that 2020 gave musicians all over the world, they’re winding up to release their debut album later this year.
Get Anxious is the first single from said debut album, which in the band’s own words “marries the raucous garage punk of previous Organs material with a newfound sense of melody and pop structure.”
