Swiss hardcore five-piece Insanity61 drop bruising anti-patriarchal anthem ‘Kick The Bucket’

‘Kick The Bucket’ feature Insanity61 doing what they do best as a premier Swiss hardcore band – delivering angry social criticism blended with fun riffs and wit.

Backed by a pissed-off chorus of European women and LGBTQIA+ people, Swiss hardcore act Insanity61 deliver a mighty blow against injustices of the patriarchy with their new single, ‘Kick The Bucket’.

Nearing 20 years as a band after two years of COVID-based dormancy, Insanity61 have maintained a high degree of passionate musicianship that has led the group to play shows with the likes of Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, and Sick Of It All.

Now nearing their 20th year as a band after first being formed in Entlebuch, Switzerland in 2004, hardcore five-piece Insanity61 have grown a passionate fanbase through three albums and a string of nine strong singles.

Exhibiting a level of anger which might seem out of character for a group of men who hail from a mountain town so picturesque that it resembles a Windows 95 screensaver, Insanity61 have seasoned their initial youthful energy into to the world-hardened delivery of their new ninth single, ‘Kick The Bucket’.

Released on June 9 and dedicated to gender equality, ‘Kick The Bucket’ is a fresh battle cry against outdated male-directed patriarchy of the 21st century. To lend the feeling of a social protest to the track, the vocals of frontman Tobias Küng are backed by the fierce gang vocals of a large group of Insanity61’s gender-diverse friends.

Emerging as the electric death knell against gender discrimination, sexism and social oppression towards women and LGBTQIA+ people, Insanity61 want to “let the patriarchy kick the bucket” with their single.

Get ready to witness a powerful display of solidarity in the visually captivating music video accompanying Insanity61’s latest single. This empowering visual masterpiece showcases defiant and angry faces (with a few middle fingers raised in defiance) belonging to women and gender-diverse individuals from different generations, all united in their frustration with the patriarchal system.

Interwoven with recent footage from protests and rallies, the video serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing fight against an outdated patriarchy. Through this compelling collaboration with inspiring women and FLINTA individuals (Femme, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, and Agender), Insanity61 amplifies their powerful voices, creating an unyielding rallying call that reverberates against the conservative guardians of the status quo.

Brace yourself for an electrifying burst of energy as you immerse yourself in this insanely satisfying music video, where empowerment takes center stage.

Sending fans into a frenzy of anticipation, the question arises: Could the infectious anthem ‘Kick The Bucket’ potentially find its place among the glorious track listing of the band’s fourth album? With previous releases including the electrifying Moneyfest (2019), the captivating Toss A Coin (2017), and the boundary-breaking No Limit (2013), this musical treasure hunt leaves us eagerly awaiting the next chapter in their discography.
