Remember that time your brother started a garage band? This is kind of like that. Except your brother has a lot of friends. And they are all musically talented. And your brother would probably get beaten up by this band.
West Thebarton Brothel Party is a merge of some of Adelaide’s favourite music babies including personal favourites Horror My Friend, psych/post-rockers Archers, punk kids Relying On Luck and TEA to form one giant super musical baby – a mutant garage rock baby.
Although still relatively unknown, these dudes have already scored supports for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Wavves, Bad//Dreems and just recently Baptism of Uzi.
What’s happening next for WTBP? Will these guys release anything? Who even are they, really? I have no idea. But the curiosity is fucking killing me. Keep an eye on their Facey-b page and check out them out Thursday 19th at the Crown and Anchor with The Rocketeers and Charlie Monsoon.
