The silly season is upon us, the end of 2019 is nigh. University is out, work is winding down, and some of Sydney’s finest watering holes are dishing out the good times for what’s to be one of the most celebratory months of the year.
Having kicked off their Summer of Music at Happy Mag’s 5th Birthday, Kings Cross Hotel and Bacardi have revealed their December music programming. Check out what’s on.

First up tonight, Saturday December 7th, is a Purple Sneakers shindig named Trusted for Taste. Having put on gigs for over a decade now, the Purple Sneakers crew are indeed trustworthy when it comes to their parties – the lineups are always killer and the crowds know how to bring it.
The gig will see Purple Sneakers DJs, Sidechains DJs, Jade Le Flay, and Isa hitting the rooftop turntables. It’s the first in a series of three events for the crew – find out more here.
On Sunday December 8th, perhaps in order to nurse yourself back to good health after Trusted for Taste, mosey on down to Rooftop Recovery. Sturdy food and drinks will be going all day, with DJs kicking off from 3pm for some sonic TLC.
New Years Eve the hotel are going large, extending their trading hours ’til 4am so you can really edge towards that sunrise. DJs will be spinning across three levels all night long, so lock it in for a post-fireworks dance sesh or kick it there all night for an NYE to remember.
On top of all this, house and techno crew DressCode will be taking over LVL3 each and every Saturday. After a legendary residency last summer these parties are back, playing host to a score of the best DJs from Sydney and beyond.
