A new documentary exposes the dark “bromance” between Jeffrey Epstein and Victoria’s Secret ex-CEO, Les Wexner.
Just yesterday, Hulu premiered a new documentary titled Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons. This three-part docuseries investigates the bizarre ties between the late convicted pedophile and sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, and the former CEO of Victoria’s Secret, Les Wexner.
Jeffrey and Les were apparently best buds, with Jeffrey even acting as his financial advisor. According to reports in the New York Times, Jeffrey was given access to Les’ money and personal info. They write, “Mr. Wexner authorized him to borrow money on his behalf to sign his tax returns, to hire people and to make acquisitions.”
The first episode of the docco reviews the very beginnings of the company, Victoria’s Secret, and Lex Wexner’s involvement in its rise. Though Les, who’s now 84, declared complete unawareness of Epstein’s crimes during the early days they came to light, many sources believe otherwise.
In the trailer launched prior to Hulu’s release, one individual stated the following: “Billionaires are all secretive, but Wexner is one of the most.” Another person added, “the notion that Epstein would turn up around Victoria’s Secret is not surprising.” It’s been cited that even Jeffrey himself once said that he and Les Wexner “shared a brain.”
Victoria’s Secret has rejected any notion of involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in a prison cell in 2019, whilst waiting to be trialed in court on charges of sex trafficking.
At the time of his alleged suicide, a spokesperson for the lingerie giant made the following statement to the New York Times: “While Mr. Epstein served as Mr. Wexner’s personal money manager for a period that ended nearly 12 years ago, we do not believe he was ever employed by nor served as an authorized representative of the company.”
