Just a few weeks back, Melbourne singer-songwriter Jess Ribeiro released her jaw-dropping album Kill It Yourself, a collection of moody tales and alt-country soundscapes that had ears pricking up all around the country. Now she just given us a brand new video for Hurry Back To Love, a fittingly moody panopticon of strange images and cameos.
The video was produced and directed by Sunny Leunig, whose dog also makes an appearance. Other cameos includes Ribeiro’s brother, musician Jade Macinlly, Guliano Ferla (who released a killer EP just little while back), and Rob Law shredding the sax.
Kill It Yourself was produced by Mick Harvey who is revered for his work with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and PJ Harvey. Ribeiro is taking the record on the road. See the dates below:
