Just for Laughs Sydney is a comedy festival held annually at the Sydney Opera House and various other venues around the city.
This year, the festival is returning for its ninth year, and its huge first line-up announcement includes some huge names and comedy legends.
Just For Laughs Sydney is returning this year with an all-star line-up of comedy legends including iconic duo Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Emmy-nominated comedy icons Steve Martin and Martin Short’s already-announced Australian Now You See Them Soon You Won’t tour will coincide with the festival, as will Ireland’s Dylan Moran and SNL extraordinaire Fred Armisen’s upcoming shows.
Other legends on the line-up include one of Ireland’s finest Dara O Briain, the amazing Nina Conti, Australia’s top-selling author Kathy Lette, the one and only Beth Stelling, one of India’s biggest comedians Atui Khaktri, and many more TBA.
Just For Laugh’s All-Star Gala will also be returning this year on Saturday 2 November at the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall which will be hosted by Australia’s own Dave Hughes.
Just For Laughs Sydney will run from the 28th of October to the 3rd of November, with some select preview shows starting as early as September. Tickets for all shows go on sale from 9am next Monday the 12th of August, and ticket links for all shows can be found here.
