Throughout the spring months Kings Cross Hotel have been hosting Rooftop Recovery Sundays, a session that’s perfect for kicking back after a big Saturday night or getting ready for an even bigger Sunday.
Last Sunday was the long weekend, so we suspected a fair few keen folk would show their faces upon this fine rooftop. We turned out to be right – here’s what went down when we checked in.
DJs, food, drink, chats. With Rooftop Recovery, Kings Cross Hotel have quietly started putting on one of Sydney’s best Sunday sessions.
Featuring DJs from 2pm as well as a score of juicy drink specials, the day was ideal destination for a downtempo good time, fat chats with mates, and a generally super friendly vibe.
On the decks Sunday were Big in Japan, DJ Ant Schillaci, Riccard0, Gregory McIntyre, and Sticky Sounds, who kept the speakers positively singing all day long.
Couple that with a few drink specials (Bloody Marys were flying out the door), some delish food selections, free entry into the venue, and an absolutely killer view of the Cross and its surrounds, and you had yourself a 10/10 time.

Taking place on Saturday October 26th at the golden hours of 6pm-10pm, we’ll be inviting a few of our favourite local DJs to spin tunes while the sun goes down.
