Lauv’s new record, All 4 Nothing is a captivating and candid confessional on life’s most formative, blissful and magical experiences.
Lauv has unleashed his highly-anticipated, second full-length album, All 4 Nothing via Virgin Music. Across 13 glistening tracks, the American singer-songwriter tells his most personal story yet.
“The album is about the death of a dream I was chasing, and waking to that dream that was already there,” explains Lauv. “Up until now, I spent so much time trying to be something, that I was actually ignoring what was right in front of me.”
He continues, “If you want to really experience the magic of life, you don’t get to choose. You can’t pull magic from places where it doesn’t exist. You just have to be aware of its presence in your life, play with it, and create something with it. Ultimately, this album is all about surrendering to love and surrendering to life.”
Effortlessly blending elements of pop, electronic and contemporary R&B, Lauv has created a string of spellbinding hits, each of which conveys deeply-personal tales of love, longing, sadness, joy, heartbreak and bliss.
For us, the album’s title track, All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love) is a definite highlight. Earnest, electrifying and endlessly-playable, this three-minute electropop love ballad is a sonic masterpiece.
Coupled with a vivid, cinematic and soul-igniting music video, prepare yourselves to be transported to a dreamy, nostalgic land of youthful infatuation.
Since his breakout 2017 single, I Like Me Better which has now amassed over a billion streams, Lauv has risen from strength to strength, creating one anthemic tune after another. Across his widely-celebrated 2020 debut album, How I’m Feeling, the fast-rising hitmaker collaborated with the likes of Troye Sivan, Alessia Cara, BTS and Anne-Marie.
