Liam Gallagher announces Australian headline tour this December

Legendary lead singer of OasisLiam Gallagher, has announced a series of Australian headline dates this December, alongside already confirmed performances at Meredith and Fairgrounds Festivals.

Gallagher will be playing at venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Fremantle, as well as Auckland, supported by Scottish singer-songwriter, Gerry Cinnamon.

Liam Gallagher announces a string of Australian headline dates this December in support of his upcoming second solo album, Why Me? Why Not. 

Gallagher’s second solo album Why Me? Why Not. is due for release on September 20th. His debut solo album, As You Were, was released in 2017 became the ninth-fastest selling debut album of the decade in the UK, proving a commercial and critical success.

According to the Secret Sounds, Gallagher’s set is promised to be filled with some of Oasis’s most famous tunes, plus the already successful singles off his upcoming record, Shockwave and The River, and “oodles of the swagger and bluster that made Liam Gallagher a household name.”

Notorious for his ongoing feud with Noel Gallagher, Liam will miss his brother’s visit to the country by a month, as Noel is out here with his own band, the High Flying Birds, touring in support of U2 on their Joshua Tree Australian stadium tour.
