With the release of the charity album Songs for Australia, we have been gifted with some absolutely incredible covers from a huge array of artists. One of the most precious and stunning covers is Kurt Vile’s take on the Nick Cave classic Stranger Than Kindness. Following the same laid back and calm feel that encompasses so much of Vile’s music, the songs original twisted lyrics manage to bend perfectly with the acoustic stripped back style that Vile offers up.
