Ahhhh Coachella. Arguably the biggest and most notable music festival in the world. Coachella is the feather in the cap for any festival lover, regardless of where they’re from. But as it takes place in California and tickets are notorious for selling out, you can be hard pressed to get yourself out there.
For those who spend Coachella weekend suffering from FOMO, there’s now an alternate option for you. Thanks to YouTube, you can now live stream a whole bunch of acts in real time. Running over three streams over the three days, you can pre-schedule what you want to watch and tune in from 4pm PT each day.
Couldn’t get to Coachella this year? No worries, you can live stream both weekends this year on YouTube so you can see how much fun it is in real time
Thanks to a handy page set up by YouTube, you can schedule your watch list, preview when they’re happening, and even toggle between Coachella time and your local time. Organisers also dropped a kick ass trailer for the service which you can check out below.
Some of the stand out acts on this weekend’s line up feature The 1975, Childish Gambino, Mac DeMarco, Billie Eilish, CHVRCHES, and of course our very own Tame Impala. You can also stream the much talked about Childish Gambino film, Guava Island (5pm Cali time).
There will also be a bunch of Coachella exclusive content for you to peruse, so get your eyes on that too.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’ll be getting on that sweet sweet streaming action this weekend. Clear your schedule this weekend and click here for all the information, and the YouTube stream page.
