With an amazing new single fresh under their belts, we caught up with Lucalion and Malina Claire for a playlist of five feel-good gems.

Flight Facilities – Sunshine (ft. Reggie Watts)

LUCALION: It is physically impossible to listen to this song without at least tapping your foot. The instrumental and vocal performances complement each other so well, creating an infectious feel-good banger that has been one of my personal favourites for years.

Confidence Man – Out The Window

MALINA CLAIRE: Confidence Man have for the past few years been my favourite live act with their signature production style, self-made outfits and their quirky choreographed moves. But there’s something about this track that I always wait eagerly to hear at their show. The choir-like vocals at the end, the fast-paced drumbeat, the catchy bass hook and the addition of the trumpets give the song the perfect overall triumphant and uplifting feel and the perfect track to play at any party to unite a room.

Bag Raider – Shooting Stars

LUCALION: I firmly believe there should be a public holiday on August 7 to celebrate the release of Bag Raiders timeless pop banger, Shooting Stars. Everything from the dreamy vocals to the annoyingly perfect synth lead make this track, in my opinion, one of the best feel-good anthems of recent history.

Clairo – 4EVER

MALINA CLAIRE: Clairo first had my attention when she shot to success quickly with Pretty Girl. As soon as her album dropped, it was 4EVER that permanently marked her spot on my radar. I don’t know if it’s more the catchy bassline, the infectious harmonised vocal hook or the self-evaluative lyrics that I like the most, but together these elements create the perfect bop that has found its space on almost all of my playlists!

Junior Senior – Move Your Feet

LUCALION & MALINA CLAIRE: If you were born in the 90’s, you should have no problem remembering this classic feel-good dance anthem. The trumpets are infectious, the vocals are unforgettable. How could you not move your feet to this track?
