With just over a week left until the Happy Mag Issue 11 Launch, we’re stoked to share the last additions to our biggest lineup ever. On May 24th we’re taking over the Marlborough Hotel in full, programming all three levels with a ton of live music as part of Vivid Sydney 2019.
These artists will be the ones making you dance. We’ve got a set of DJs and one of our favourite live electronic acts hitting the Tokyo Sing Song club stage, a string of DJs keeping the venue moving between live acts upstairs and on the ground floor, and original projections on each stage to boot.
There’s less than a week to go until the Happy Mag Issue 11 Launch! Check out the final additions to our biggest party ever.
Rebel Yell will be headlining the Tokyo Sing Song stage, bringing wave upon wave of acid-fuelled live techno to the Marley’s darkest corner. Spinning tunes either side of her performance will be Lovejoy DJs, who you’ll know from some of Sydney’s best warehouse digs, and Caciara, the alias of local producer Lachie Brookman.
Now this is a VIVID party, so you can bet we’ll be making the venue shine. Every stage will be drenched in projections put together by the visual masterminds at Yeah Nah Yeah, plus we’ll be decking the halls with some of the cracking shots appearing in Issue 11.
Speaking of Issue 11, anyone who comes along will be able to pick up a copy of the new mag for free. Issue 11 marks our annual Photo Issue, featuring photography from the likes of Mclean Stephenson, James Brickwood, Dani Hansen, Sarah Stockman, and heaps more.
