Brisbane locals Morning Harvey started in 2011 by frontman and songwriter Spencer White. After releasing a bunch of demos and playing heaps and heaps of live shows in Brissy, the band recorded their debut EP Well For Wishes and released it to generally warm reviews. That was in May 2013. They’re back with a new single, a new musical direction and an East Coast tour to boot. With it’s roots in dreamy, 90’s Auspop (like Britpop but Aussie, right?) Girl Euphoria (Come Back To Me) is packed full of feedback, directional bass and the kind of personal lyrics that make you feel as though you’re peering right into the mind of the maker.
