Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Naytee has played in a number of bands over the years, though now he’s emerged with an incredible solo debut.
The new track – titled Coffee Shop Girl – flaunts a crisp, fully-formed sound that’ll resonate deeply with any listener.
Melbourne based singer-songwriter Naytee makes one hell of a first impression with his stunning debut single Coffee Shop Girl.
Throughout the song’s stunning four minute duration, Naytee glides through a unique blend of R&B and synth-pop to deliver an immersive sound that belongs entirely to himself.
With airy synths and spirited vocals, the Melbourne artist has crafted a seriously impressive debut offering that I guarantee will be stuck in your head for days.
“After I got back from the UK early last year, I decided to try and write as much as possible. Not for any particular project, more as an outlet to keep me going really,” Naytee says of the new track.
“It had crossed my mind about possibly releasing a solo track at some point, but it was Coffee Shop Girl that convinced me to go into unknown territory and give it a go.”
These are still early days in this songwriters career, but judging from what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect more great tunes from Naytee.
