Need to lighten up? We suggest DIET. and their frisky new single Clothes Off

After releasing a self-titled EP last year, DIET. are back with a bang. Their latest single Clothes Off is pop rock with a garage twist, bringing in bright guitar, driving drums and seriously well articulated vocals.

The track is fast paced, with plenty of dance factor and nods to some excellent British pop. Think The Cure times ten.

An homage to the great run of skin-clad freedom, DIET. have brought light to a well loved tradition in our sporting culture.

Clothes Off  is too damn easy to get into. With attitude in spades, the track is still pointing due party central and I dare anyone who listens to it not to jump up and down.

While you may think that Clothes Off allures to our the world’s favourite pass time, the track is actually about Australia’s second favourite thing to do… streaking.

The rest of their music is of a similar vein, with a surfie’s edge DIET. have nailed a gritty, down-to-earth brand of rock. The Melbourne guys have made a triumphant return after their last record and if this single is anything to go off, their next release should be a goddamn banger.

Stepping out of their bedroom studio in favour of some professional equipment, Clothes Off  was recorded in Melbourne’s Alamo Studios and engineered by Dan Caswell.

They’ve already done a round of Clothes Off  at The Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne earlier in June and the boys are now gearing up for the rest of their tour.

Having already blasted Melbourne for a second time, there’s still a chance to catch DIET. in action around the country… and hopefully take your clothes off.
