It was a privilege to be involved“: British actor Gary Oldman is set to narrate the new David Bowie themed augmented reality app.

This brings the amazing ‘David Bowie Is’ exhibition to a wider audience,” Oldman said in a press release.

It’s great that his fans get to experience it. It was a privilege to be involved. The app will allow users to interact with the show’s hundreds of costumes, videos, handwritten lyrics, original works of art, and more.

In 2013, Oldman featured in Bowie’s music video for The Next Day, and they also featured alongside one another in Julian Schnabel’s 1996 film Basquiat.

The new app will be available for both iOS and Android devices. You can watch a preview of the new app here.
