Newtown Festival is a major fundraiser for Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and will showcase the best from the Inner West at Camperdown Memorial Rest Park on Sunday 10 November between 9:30AM – 5:30PM.
For an expected contribution of $5.00 or more at the entry gates, festival attendees can will be supporting those doing it tough in the Inner West and have a fantastic day out while they’re at it.
One of the many highlights of the Newtown Festival is, of course, live music. Over the last few years, the Newtown Festival music program has been curated to showcase artists from the Inner West, with 2019 being no different. This year boasts an incredibly diverse array of local artists who over the years have had a strong connection with Newtown and the Inner West community, making the event even more special.
Festival attendees can also indulge in a variety of market and food stalls, dog show, workshops, talks, and performing arts. It is important to remember that the festival performers and artists, Eco Village team, IRL Talks team, Dog Show team and our incredible volunteers donate their time for the cause. All contributions received through the festival go directly to the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and the people, programs and services it provides.
So get excited and get down to Camperdown Memorial Rest Park on Sunday 10 November for what is set to be a cracker of a day.
