The mighty Pixies have just announced they are returning to Australian shores in 2020.
Not only that but the seminal punk-rock legends will be performing their first two albums in full.
The Pixies have announced a huge Australian tour in 2020 performing their first two albums in full. What an absolute treat for the world.
The Pixies will be returning for the fourth time down under in 2020. As an exceptionally rare treat they will be performing their 1987 EP Come On Pilgrim as well as 1988’s debut album Surfer Rosa in their entirety. Not only this but they will be playing a collection of other tracks expanding their entire catalogue, mixing in the new with a healthy dose of the old.
Pixies will be performing four headline shows starting in Melbourne before heading to Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. Set to play the Opera House Forecourt in Sydney next March, we are sure it’s going to be an absolutely magical night!
To add even more icing to the cake, the Pixies will have also have a new album in hand, with their eighth studio album Beneath The Eyrie due out 13th September.
