PREMIERE: Alaina make a huge impact on their debut single Rain

Some bands take a little while to find their footing. Other bands come flying outta the gate with absolute fury and confidence in their sound. Brisbane outfit Alaina definitely fall into the latter category.

The band’s debut single Rain is a near-perfect debut, an all-out, energetic slap to the head. If you weren’t already paying attention, now’s the time to start.

Crunching guitars, spirited vocals, and furious riffage: Brisbane four-piece Alaina sure know how to make a good first impression.

Made up of lead vocalist and guitarist Ryan Valley, bassist Dale Litster, drummer Ty Williams, and guitarist Sam Reynolds, Alaina tear through vitriolic rock music that’s bound to turn some heads.

With crunching guitars, spirited vocals, and furious riffage, Rain is the kind of song that gets you out of bed in the morning. There’s no lull time – it’s fast and thumping from start to finish.

The song’s accompanying music video sees the band take to the studio… and while their engineer might not have been satisfied with their take, we most certainly were.

With a debut single this strong, Alaina are definitely a band worth keeping an eye on. We’re expecting great things.

Do yourself a favour and watch the new video above, and catch the band live at any of the following dates:

June 29th – Tomcat, Fortitude Valley
June 30th – Ballistic Beer, Brisbane
