PREMIERE: Creek will take you way down under with their new video for The Deep

If you haven’t yet heard the classic blues meets alt/prog rock sounds from ‘rad-lords’ Creek, we’re here to help you out.

The Melbourne band have just dropped their new video for The Deep, and we’re stoked to be premiering it for you today.

Emerging from riverbanks across Victoria, Creek bring us the video for their latest single The Deep, luring us astray with their heavy riffs and moody beats.

Suspense and drama right from the get-go pulls you straight into an Aussie horror flick. The story follows a man lost in the bush, lured by a swamp siren to sacrifice and plays the unsettling card exquisitely. Put it this way, if you’re into hiking dates with pretty girls, you probably won’t be after watching this.

The song itself depicts the blissful unawareness of the poor bloke in the video, asking the pretty girl to drag him to her depths, and with the sexy aggression of those guitar riffs and bluesy melodies, we can see why he follows her. Until the end of course. Hot tip: don’t watch this while eating.

The Deep is the first 2019 single from Creek, teasing us to their album of the same name due later this year. To celebrate the release, the boys are taking to the road in April, hitting Brisbane, Byron Bay and Mayfield with their spells. For full deets and tickets head to their website.
