PREMIERE: Danny Walsh Banned’s new video Nothing To Hide is a slice of surreal insanity

For nearly a decade now, Melbourne based outfit Danny Walsh Banned have been tearing apart the Victorian live music scene with their blistering, vintage rock n’ roll sounds. With two full-length LPs under their collective belt, the band are no strangers to the scene – and now, it appears they’re ready to kick things up a notch.

With the release of their latest single Nothing To Hide, the band have firmly established their penchant for crafting hyper-coloured and hard-hitting rock gems.

On their new video Nothing To Hide, Melbourne based outfit Danny Walsh Banned craft a surreal, hallucinatory slice of audio/visual goodness.

Throughout the new track, Danny Walsh Banned stomp through a concoction of psych, swamp-rock, blues, and good ol’ fashioned rock n’ roll to craft a sound uniquely their own. With searing guitars, flailing vocals, and bone-rattling percussion, the track will swirl around your head before smacking you in the face.

The song’s new video is the perfect visual accompaniment. Like some surreal hallucination, the clip will nest itself in the depths of your psyche. Made up of technicoloured footage, the clip is a mind-bending collage that enhances the disorientating effects of the song. The result is a truly hypnotic listening/viewing experience.

Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait long to hear what Danny Walsh Banned deliver next. For now, do yourself a favour and watch the new clip for Nothing To Hide above.
