PREMIERE: Lost Woods will warm your heart on their new track Cinnamon

“People love cinnamon. It should be on tables at restaurants along with salt and pepper. Anytime anyone says, ‘Oh this is so good, what’s in it?’ The answer invariably comes back, ‘Cinnamon.’ ‘Cinnamon.’ Again and again” – Jerry Seinfeld.

Cinnamon is a reliable spice – we all know this. And much like cinnamon, Adelaide indie-rock outfit Lost Woods are a reliable band.

Cinnamon, the heartwarming new track from Adelaide five-piece Lost Woods, will evoke memories of days past, while still sounding completely fresh.

For the past number of years, Lost Woods have been consistently dropping deeply infectious indie-rock tracks reminiscent of the punchy, jangly sounds of the nineties.

Though on their new single Cinnamon, the band expand their sound into something far more immersive.

The jangly guitars are still there. The infectious hooks are still there. But this time round it feels so much more open… like the band are inviting you into their childhood homes, and giving you a grand tour.

You walk away from the track feeling as though you’ve known the band for years. It’s a truly captivating experience.

Do yourself a favour and listen to the new track above, and catch Lost Woods live at any of the followoing dates:

21st of July – The Exeter Beer Garden, Adelaide
2nd of August – The Gallery, Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
