PREMIERE: Get lost in the epic world of Old Cities’ new single Prague

As bright, driving guitar lines launch his new single Prague into existence, you’ll be completely entranced by the epic, dreamy sounds of Sydney’s Old Cities.

It feels simultaneously cinematic and down to earth; a rare balance between anthemic vocal delivery, grand instrumentation, and authentic songwriting that’s incredibly captivating.

Prague, the absolutely epic new single from Sydney songwriter and producer Old Cities, will brighten any room you find yourself in.

On the new track, Old Cities (Sydney songwriter Jordi White) navigates a unique meld of indie-rock and brit-pop to craft a sound that’ll consume you wholly.

White was on a trip to Prague when he wrote the track – a trip that saw his wife fall chronically unwell.

I wrote this track after a teary airport farewell; it was a freezing winter morning in Berlin and I was on my way to a 4 day writing session in Prague,” he says of the song.

It’s insane how loud your thoughts can become and how much you miss those closest to you when you’re forced into a period of isolation. This song was birthed out of a need to reassure myself, as much as her, that I was coming back and everything was gonna be okay.”

While the track deals with some weighty subject matter, it’s vibrant instrumentation will warm even the coldest environments.
