The sultry SPOD hath returned with another ear-pleasuring tune and a retina-tingling clip to match. Introducing Make Things Right, the second taster from his upcoming album and live performance film Adult Fantasy.
Make Things Right is the magical uncertainty of a late night distilled into a four-minute ditty; it’s fear, intoxication, anticipation, and attraction all at once.
SPOD returns with Make Things Right, a late-night tale of one man chasing his son into the mindless fog, uncertain if he’s safe, sound, or even still with us.
SPOD’s new album Adult Fantasy was recorded in a self-built studio in a broken down bus in Tasmania, and is set to arrive alongside a full-length performance video named Adult Fantasy TV Special. The film was shot and edited live and direct to tape, co-directed by Alex Smith and SPOD himself.
Make Things Right is the second single from said album, following the whispery Sexual Fantasy. The new tune is twice as passionate and just as vast in its ambition – check it out for yourself below.
To celebrate SPOD’s Adult Fantasy, the one-man whirlwind has announced a set of shows across Australia’s East Coast post-album release. Speaking of the tour, SPOD shared:
“I’m taking it on the road to do what I do best and performing my sensual & powerful songs over a backing track to please and upset in equal measures.”
