PREMIERE: You won’t be able to resist the lush sounds of The Francos new EP

I must confess… I’ve spent the past two hours jamming out to The Francos’ new EP Absolute Scenes when I really should’ve been working.

This new collection of songs is virtually impossible not to get lost in, and you really can’t blame me for losing track of time while floating through the three-piece’s woozy sounds.

Woozy, hypnotic, and deeply infectious; Wollongong three-piece The Francos’ new EP Absolute Scenes will have you losing track of time.

Over the course of five tracks, the Wollongong outfit stir elements of indie-rock, psychedelia, and electronica to ooze out a unique brew of irresistibly textured tones.

Having only formed last year, it’s pretty difficult to believe that the band have already developed such a strong chemistry between members.

All their tracks fall into a deeply hypnotic groove that’ll leave you unsure of whether gravity still exists. It’s a wonderful feeling of disorientation that you’ll quickly become addicted to.

Each element of their lush music intertwines itself with the others, resulting in consistently air-tight performances.

Absolute Scenes is the follow up to The Francos’ 2017 EP Take The Train Home, and sees the band further develop their sound. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait long to hear more from this Wollongong crew.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new EP above.
