QLD just got a brand new boutique music festival

Despite more and more big name festivals falling victim to poor sales and the like, the boutique music festival market continues to grow. Now QLD has a brand new festival to brag about, and it’s looking pretty bloody good.

Aside from having a secret headliner, the bill is topped by the likes of Alpine, Gang of Youths and DZ Deathrays, just to name a few.

Gracing the Horton Park Golf Course on the Sunshine Coast, the Maroochy Music and Visual Arts Festival is shaping up to be a pretty awesome little festival. Aside from the killer musical line up, Amanda Parer heads the visual art side of the festival, exhibiting her life size installation Intrude in Maroochydore after recently  touring MONA, London, Berlin and Tokyo.

The one day festival will be taking place in the heart of Maroochydore, smack-bang in the CBD. See below for the full line up and ticket info:
