The Red Hot Chili Peppers announced an Aussie tour with Post Malone

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Australia for their first headline tour since 2007 and this time, they’re bringing Post Malone.

It’s time to wear that Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt, that we know you all have, with a purpose because the boys are coming back down under in 2023.

The tour will actually serve as a homecoming for bass player (turned actor? He’s acting now!) Flea who was actually born in Melbourne.

The California natives have just announced they’re coming to Australia next year to kick off a tour at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on January 29, 2023.

The timeless rockers will head down to Accor Stadium, Sydney on February 2 which will be followed by a show at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Feb 7 before wrapping in Perth at Optus Stadium on Feb 12.

The band are touring to promote their new album Unlimited Love, which actually fricken slaps BUT we’re hoping the fellas play a few of the oldies as well to keep fans at bay.

Some of the most exciting news is that the phenomenal John Frusciante will be rejoining the band and spoiling audiences all over the country with his musical genius.

As if that’s not good enough, the Chili Peppers are bringing award-winning mumble rapper Post Malone along with them. Posty hasn’t been to Australia since pre-COVID days in 2019. What a wonderful time that was.

Tickets don’t officially go on sale until Monday, July 11 but Telstra Plus members will have access to pre-sale tix, commencing on Wednesday, July 6 at 10am for Brisbane folks, 11am in Melbourne and Perth and 12pm in Sydney and will run for 48 hours.
