“They can’t clone this”
Until recently, the funniest event to transpire during Usher and Chris Brown’s ‘R&B Tour’ was when Brown’s signature swing got stuck during his set, causing two dudes to awkwardly come on stage with a ladder.
Now the two icons from the 00s have come under the spotlight once again due to some quite bizarre allegations.
While Chris Brown is the usual target of severe allegations of a domestic nature, Usher got hit with something a lot stranger.
After their New Jersey show at MetLife stadium on August 7, widespread videos online showed the hitmaker dancing on stage with fans claiming he hired a stunt double.
@thesultandiaries That was foulllll🤣😂😭 usher really sent out his doppelganger #chrisbrowntour #usherraymond #chrisandusherconcert #usher #therbtour2026 ♬ original sound – Sunnya
Now the tour’s official Instagram page has addressed the situation by posting Usher’s comments he left under one of the many videos that circulated.
“Y’all are funny…clone? They can’t clone this?? How y’all come up with this?”

Regardless, most fans are convinced that it was not Usher on stage.
Self proclaimed experts continue to provide in-depth analysis of every single detail, from the dance moves all the way to facial features.
One commented that “Nah. I’ve been studying Usher’s moves for 20 years. That’s not him…Ushers moves are a lot more fluid than that”.
Another stated “Homie looked a little confused trying to get on that stage the first night…I looked back on my recordings and that definitely don’t look like our Usher”.
The rest of Usher & Chris Brown’s tour will take the R&B stars from Las Vegas all the way to Atlanta until December 11.
With the tour generated a ton of memes, discourse and odd shenanigans, who knows what else will transpire.
