Rick & Morty’s Justin Roiland has made a freaky-deaky video game

Hold onto your hats because this one’s a wild ride. Co-creator of Rick & Morty, Justin Roiland has been toiling on a new game, and has finally released a trailer. In true Rick & Morty style, it’s foul-mouthed, bizarre, crude, and just a straight up trip.

The game, Trover Saves the Universe, follows a little purple dude named Trover as he… well, he saves the universe. It pretty much does what it says on the box. But as it’s the brain child of Justin Roiland, you can bet it’ll be full of weird shit.

Trover Saves the Universe is set for release on PS4 and PSVR on May 31ST, so saddle up for some freaky, out of this world fun

While the game takes place in a fictional universe, it’s already been confirmed that it’s not the same as the R&M universe, so no cameos of our near and dear characters. After the PlayStation release on May 31st, the game will eventually hit PC, with releases on both Steam and the Epic Games store on June 4.

Check out the new trailer below, but if you’re at work or around ya mum, maybe chuck in some headphones. There’s a fair bit of swearing so it’s ever so slightly NSFW.
