On November 23rd, the soundtrack to Rick and Morty will be released to the world as a physical entity, and will include such hits as the show’s theme song, Get Schwifty, and a score medley.
As well as songs by the show’s composer Ryan Elder, the soundtrack will also feature new songs from such artists as Chad VanGaalen, Mazzy Star, Belly, Blonde Redhead, and Clipping.
The Rick and Morty soundtrack is getting released digitally, on cassette, CD, and coloured vinyl. And it won’t feature Rick and Morty’s Kanye West birthday song.
Simply titled The Rick and Morty Soundtrack, the new album will be released through Adult Swim and Sub-Pop.
The 24-track collection will be released as a CD, a double LP, and digital release. The LP option will see the soundtrack pressed on coloured vinyl, and will include two single-pocket LP jackets housed together in a die-cut slipcase.
If you’re heading along to Comic-Con this year, you’ll be able to pre-order an exclusive coloured variant of the album.
