Irish pop-rock band The Script have been announced as replacement musical guests on The Logies, in stead of Sam Smith. The boy with the biological Autotune recently pulled out of a planned Australian tour with a throat haemorrhage, thereby also cancelling his appearance at the upcoming Logies awards.
This Logies appearance will be a welcome boon to The Script, with the date coming one day after their final show on their Australian tour wraps up.
The Script’s all-ages Australian tour will make five stops around Australia, in all the major cities. The Logies will take place in Melbourne on Sunday, 3 May.
