We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team from the beginning of 2022.
Over the past seven years, Happy Media has cultivated one of the most unique brands to emerge in Australia’s independent media landscape. Right now we’re looking for someone who shares our values to join the team in 2022 as our first dedicated Social Media Manager.
This unique and highly sought after role will see you working with every department in the company, developing short, medium and long term strategies to ensure reach, growth and revenue (where applicable) on all social media platforms.
Proficiency in digital design is an absolute must with at least three years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling all written and video content across a range of social media platforms
- Ensuring all social media channels are active at key times across multiple time zones
- Using analytic tools to develop strategies for growth across all channels
- Weekly reporting to key internal stakeholders across all channels
- Adhering to revenue KPIs on Happy Media’s monetised channels
- Finding innovative ways to translate existing and native content into other formats
- Sourcing and repurposing existing viral video contact relevant to each channel
- Creating memes and other digital content for Happy Media’s channels
- Build community engagement and oversee moderation
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar social media management role
- Experience using Google, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok analytics
- Experience reporting to key stakeholders across multiple projects
- A reasonable skill base in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro & Photoshop a must)
- An understanding of digital marketing concepts and processes
- A knack for both identifying and creating viral content
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in a collaborative environment
- Experience in editing video, transcribing and creating graphics a plus
