A hedonistic hideaway in one of the country’s most gorgeous hidden nooks, Subsonic 2017 was everything you’d ever want in a summer festival.
Last weekend Subsonic descended upon Riverwood Downs, a pristine getaway tucked amongst the idyllic Barrington Tops. An estuary for the weird and wonderful, the land was ablaze with dancing colours, thumping rhythms and a vibe that’s hard to beat.
With a formula so strong, it was no surprise the festivities went off. Heavy sonics from the likes of Combat Wombat, A.B. Original, Sampa the Great and more were the perfect accompaniment to a well stocked food and drink ticket (big ups to 42 Below for their efforts in keeping the bar green!), and good times were had by all.
