It’s been a massive year of growth for Sydney house-pop duo Tees – one that has just been topped off magically with a signing to revered indie label Farmer & The Owl. 
The duo, made up of Lizzy Tillman and Sean Duarte, came to fruition in a share house in the Sydney’s inner city: “One of the first times Tees met, was at Lizzy’s house in Redfern. She demanded Sean was to drink a specially prepared cup of tea she had prepared, and it was only under this condition that he was aloud to enter. Unbeknownst to them that this was the beginning of a beautiful and creative relationship.”
Tees dabble in 90s-infused acid house, spread over a bed of pop sensibilities. To celebrate their joining Farmer & The Owl’s small yet illustrious label and management roster (Hockey Dad, The Pinheads, Shining Bird) the duo have just released a brand new single Spending Your Heart.
