New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Spotify account was targeted by an anonymous troll who showered it with some NSFW content.
Who would’ve thought the controversial TROLLZ hitmaker (whose real name is Daniel Hernandez) would receive a taste of his own medicine?
On Saturday, October 16, fans of the 25 year old rapper discovered his Spotify account had been completely changed. Images of penises and Tekashi 6ix9ine transforming into a rat (Animorphs style) decorated the page. His artist’s bio had also been rewritten to reference US rappers Trippie Redd and Lil Durk – two artists with who 6ix9ine is known for having feuds.
“I grew up always wanting to be like Trippie Redd and lil durk I’d let them hit my girl and my mom,” the bio initially read. “My mom pussy stank I came from the sewer. Wack 100 my boyfriend and he secretly crip.”

Additionally, the rapper’s profile picture had been replaced with an image of Trippie Redd. The page’s ‘Artist’s Pick’ was linked to the aforementioned’s 2021 album Trip At Knight (Complete Edition).
“Trippie is my idol Tr3yway,” read the link.
The page has since been reverted back to its original form. The identity of the hacker is currently unknown.
Despite this, it didn’t stop Twitter users from flooding people’s timelines with memes. Most celebrated the hack, while others have been trying their hardest to figure out if the penises belong to the ZAZA rapper.

“Since 6ix9ine’s Spotify account has been changed again here’s another cat to cheer you up from that terrible nightmare :),” one user tweeted with a picture of a smiling cat.
“Why did 6ix9ine put a pic of his boyfriends shlong on spotify???” another user tweeted followed by a crying emoji.
“Let me find out 6ix9ine is behind all this and did it to get more streams on Spotify,” another user theorised.
Rising to mainstream prominence after the release of his 2018 smash hit, FEFE (feat. Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz), 6ix9ine developed a reputation in the hip hop community for being a troll and snitch.
The rapper appeared in court in 2019 after he was arrested for “federal racketeering and weapons charges” in relation to gang activity with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods (a New York gang). When on the stand, 6ix9ine addressed the court, revealing everything from secret gang activities to associates.
As of now, 6ix9ine has not commented on the hack.
