The National have revealed a new song Roman Candle during a live performance in Los Angeles, which has popped up online via fan-filmed footage from the night.
The band were playing at a benefit show for Cooperative Education, a charity co-founded by frontman Matt Berninger’s cousin. The National have hinted that a seventh album is in the works, with Roman Candle our first taste of what they’ve been working on.
In the meantime Berninger has kicked off his side project EL VY, and The National will be making their way to Australia next year for Bluesfest.
