In celebration of their Hottest 100 win, The Rubens have dropped the video for single Hold Me Back.
Hold Me Back is the most recent single to be released from their 2015 album Hoops, following previously released tracks Hallelujah, Hoops and The Night Is On My Side.
The video, which was edited by Mushroom Creative, features a bunch of home footage of the band, and live footage from their recent shows.
Yesterday, the band hit back against critics and members of the public who have said their win was safe and unsurprising, telling the ABC “Unsurprising, that’s an interesting way to describe something voted by people, I guess. It’s not meant to be surprising.”
“I thought certain songs would have been much higher or lower. And that all comes down to personal taste.”
