In recent years, Tom Waits sightings have become a rare occurrence. Though on Thursday night, Waits stopped by Jack White’s show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

Then, according to a post on White’s Instagram, Waits proceeded to steal the artist’s watch.
