Green Day frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, has shared a cover of I Think We’re Alone Now by Ritchie Cordell, a song made famous by its renditions by Tommy James & The Shondells and Tiffany Darwish. Armstrong recorded the cover in his bedroom and shared it along with a message to his fans and accompanying music video.
“While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music,” Armstrong wrote in the accompanying message. “I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together.”
