Very soon we’ll be announcing the winner and runners up of our Needle in the Hay vinyl comp, and as you may have seen we are throwing a party to celebrate.
With six of the finalists playing, what better opportunity to drink some beers and get immersed in what we think is some of the best Aussie music around.
An event like this wouldn’t be possible without some pretty awesome mates helping out, and the legends from Young Henrys are back with us for this bad boy. We could not be more stoked to have them on board.
We are joining forces with the legends at Young Henrys to put on one hell of a party to celebrate our Needle In The Hay vinyl comp, Friday September 1st at the Botany View.
For those of you who don’t know (where ya been mate?), Young Henrys is pretty much the be-all and end-all in local craft beers. Based in Newtown, Sydney, the guys are local legends and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a bar that doesn’t have their fine brews on tap.
Part of the Young Henrys ethos is tirelessly supporting live music, with a genuine passion for local scenes: you’ll find Young Henrys’ tasty brews tucked in band riders, served at festivals stalls, and in the hands of sweaty punters in venues across Australia.
If we didn’t already froth them enough, they are also big supporters of Happy Mag and Needle in the Hay and we are pretty damn keen to share a brown with them on the night. It’s friendships and collaborations like this that keep Sydney culture going.
Get down the The Botany View Hotel in Newtown on Friday September 1st to check out:
Dave
Yon Yonson
Raindrop
Okin Osan
Forest Hall
EGOISM
And get there early, the first 50 punters through the door get a FREE SCHOONER OF YOUNG HENRYS NEWTOWNER!
Also! Young Henrys just dropped a new collaboration with Brown Cardigan, the Brown Bagger, “an easy-drinking brown ale with a slightly sweet finish.”
Suss it here.
