What does the head of a unicorn made out of MIDI notes sound like?

It’s a question that has plagued humanity for eons. But now, thanks to genius YouTuber, Andrew Huang, we have an answer.

MIDI Unicorn

YouTuber Andrew Huang has done the unthinkable: created a coherent piece of music out of the head of a unicorn.

It may not look like much, but this actually one of the greatest pieces of music ever written – a 22 second tune that sounds as magical as it looks. Finally.

The above is a collection of MIDI notes on Ableton Live, and while it may look like an incoherent collection of notes arranged with the sole purpose of looking pretty, when played it actually sounds completely fucking amazing.

The masterpiece created by YouTuber Andrew Huang, who posted a recording of it to his 600,000+ Twitter followers yesterday. The internet subsequently lost its mind. It’s not hard to see why:

It’s all about those last five notes that roll off the snout – magical.
